Episodes

It was showdown week in the OAC as #8 Marietta traveled up to University Heights to take on #10 John Carroll. I recapped Week 3 of conference play across 5 of the 6 conference in the Great Lakes Region. While a lot of teams had the week off, some teams continued to grind away as a number of conference and non-conference games took place around the region while also setting up the conference races as we head into the holiday break. Joining me out of the HCAC conference this week was Defiance head coach Scott Cutter (21:53). We talked about his first year at the helm of the Yellow Jackets was going while setting up how a wide open Heartland Conference may shake out as we head down the stretch into February. All of this and more in another great 45 minutes of Great Lakes talk!

A stunner in the NCAC! I recapped Week 2 of conference play across 5 of the 6 conferences in the Great Lakes. Hiram turned the NCAC race upside down defeating #4 Ohio Wesleyan at the buzzer while HCAC favorite Mount St. Joseph took a surprising tough loss at home to Manchester. How did the other top teams fare? Joining me out of the PAC conference this week was Chatham head coach Andrew Garcia (30:06). We talked about the challenges of building a program in it's first year of existence as well as his playing and coaching career that led him to the helm at Chatham.  All of this and more in another great hour of Great Lakes talk.
